It’s the most wonderful time of the year! That would be blood orange time, just to be specific. I love blood oranges. But I love love love love love them when they are made into blood orange mojitos. This is by far my favorite cocktail. It is unbelievably refreshing and absolutely beautiful. The bright cheerful color just screams spring and summer. Something I am absolutely craving right now considering we are about to get yet another snow storm. The flavor combination with the mint is just fantastic. And whatever you do, definitely do the sugar rim. It’s worth the sticky mess. I would even recommend putting some zest into the sugar, to enhance the citrus flavor just a bit. Something that would also be excellent, is vanilla sugar on the rim. Literally drooling right now.
